Helping to reduce harm from alcohol and drugs misuse in our community.

The Community Drug Misuse Forum (for Nailsea, Backwell, Yatton and surrounding villages) is a local initiative whose aim is to reduce the misuse of alcohol and drugs in the area. The Forum comprises professional people who through their work encounter and/or respond to alcohol and drug misuse. We meet twice per year to consider the local situation and to develop strategies to tackle misuse.

If you or someone you know has a drug or alcohol problem there are many agencies listed on this website who can help you. You don't have to wait until the problem is severe before seeking help - any alcohol or drug related behaviour that is causing concern or unhappiness is best tackled at the earliest opportunity. All the agencies listed on this website are completely confidential.

There are no easy answers, but we can all do something to help.
